We are excited to announce the following enhancements in the OneTrust Developer Portal as part of OneTrust 202208.1.0.

New Release Naming Convention

Following the OneTrust 6.39 release, OneTrust will move towards a friendlier release naming convention to emphasize date release formats so our customers clearly understand when releases occur rather than following numeric version schemas. This promotes a more predictable release schedule so our customers can align, communicate, and plan for changes with their internal members and OneTrust representatives.

Consent & Preference Management

• Data Subjects V3: Added the following APIs to retrieve either a single data subject profile or a list of all data subject profiles. These APIs are designed to be used in synchronous workflows and will remain available during maintenance periods.
  • GET /v3/datasubjects/profile New API Preview

    This API is under preview beginning in OneTrust 6.32. The response will return results for newly created data subjects after the preview request is enabled.

  • GET /v3/datasubject-profiles New API Preview

    This API is under preview beginning in OneTrust 6.34. The response will return results for newly created data subjects after the preview request is enabled.

Data Discovery

• Cancel Scan Job: Added API to cancel an existing scan job. This new API allows users to end the current scan job or cancel a scheduled scan job.
  • PATCH /v2/scanners/{scannerId}/jobs/{jobId}/cancel New API
