End of Support Notification

The following Data Subjects V1 API will reach end of support on December 31, 2023. Any customers leveraging this API endpoint to retrieve data subjects will be affected.

• GET /v1/datasubjects/profiles

Customers can use the following Data Subjects V3 APIs to begin integration testing.

• GET /v3/datasubjects/profile
• GET /v3/datasubject-profiles

Please contact your OneTrust representative or OneTrust Support to request access to these APIs. If you are not making use of the V1 API, no changes are required. For additional details, see Migrating to Data Subjects V3 Endpoints.

• Data Subjects V3: Added the following APIs to retrieve either a single data subject profile or a list of all data subject profiles. These APIs are designed to be used in synchronous workflows and will remain available during maintenance periods.
  • GET /v3/datasubjects/profile New API Preview

    This API is under preview beginning in OneTrust 6.32. The response will return results for newly created data subjects after the preview request is enabled.

  • GET /v3/datasubject-profiles New API Preview

    This API is under preview beginning in OneTrust 6.34. The response will return results for newly created data subjects after the preview request is enabled.

• Create Domain Group API: Added API to create a domain group. Creating a domain group allows you to deploy a single script across multiple domains.
  • POST /v1/domains/{domainId}/domaingroup New API

Data Catalog

• Create Glossary Term API: Added API to create a new glossary term in the Data Catalog. This enables users to create new terms and supply details for term type, custom name, and glossary destination to further automate data governance management.
  • POST /v2/terms New API
• Create Glossary Tag API: Added API to create a new classification tag in the Data Catalog. This enables users to assign Classification Tags to Terms and Data Assets to further contextualize the data based on similar characteristics, features, sensitivity levels, or required actions.
  • POST /v2/tags New API
• Get Catalog Search Results API: Added API to retrieve catalog search results based on defined filter criteria. This enables users to gather metadata information about the results identified by the Catalog scan.
