Consent & Preference Management

• Extended Retention Period: The retention period for data subject profile records has been extended from 90 days to 60 months. With this enhancement, data subject profile records older than 60 months will begin to be purged 60 months after the OneTrust 6.39 release.
  • GET /v3/datasubjects/profile Updated API

    The extended retention period will not apply to retrieving 60 months of historical data subject profile records given that these records have already been purged according to the previous retention period.

• Data Subjects V3: Added the following APIs to retrieve either a single data subject profile or a list of all data subject profiles. These APIs are designed to be used in synchronous workflows and will remain available during maintenance periods.
  • GET /v3/datasubjects/profile New API Preview

    This API is under preview beginning in OneTrust 6.32. The response will return results for newly created data subjects after the preview request is enabled.

  • GET /v3/datasubject-profiles New API Preview

    This API is under preview beginning in OneTrust 6.34. The response will return results for newly created data subjects after the preview request is enabled.

OneTrust 6.39.4

• Resolved access issues where using client credentials or API keys to call the following API resulted in a 403 Forbidden error even when the user had sufficient permissions.
  • PUT /v1/custompreferences/{customPreferenceId} Updated API

Data Discovery

• Create Scan Job: Added API to create a new scan job. This API allows users to schedule a scan job and run scan jobs ad hoc.
  • POST /v2/scan-job New API
• Updated API Grouping: Reorganized the following APIs to include them under the Scan Jobs API group.
  • GET /v2/scan-job/datasource/{dataSourceId} Updated API
  • GET /v2/scanners/{scannerId}/jobs/{jobId} Updated API

Training

• Get List of Courses: Added API to retrieve a list of Training courses. This enables you to access a full list of courses available within the OneTrust application.
  • GET /v1/courses New API
• Enroll Users to Courses: Added API to enroll users in Training courses. This allows you to enroll users from your organization to courses without logging into the OneTrust application.
  • POST /v2/enrollments New API
• Get the Status of Enrollment: Added API to retrieve the enrollment status of a user in a course. This enables you to report the course progress of a given user.
  • GET /v1/enrollment-assignees/{enrollmentAssigneeId}/enrollment-progress New API
• Unenroll User from Course: Added API to unenroll users from courses. This enables you to discontinue enrollment for a specific user in a given course.
  • DELETE /v1/enrollments/enrollment-assignees/{enrollmentAssigneeId} New API
• Get Enrollment Details: Added API to retrieve the enrollment details for every user across all courses. This enables you to easily create a detailed report on current course enrollment.
